A fan and family favorite

Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal cookies have always been a fan favorite in our house. They are the one cookie that all of us know how to bake and enjoy eating.

These are also the cookies that my mom sent me when I was living abroad and missing home.

These cookies are a staple for any baker. Simple to make, tasty, and perfect for all occasions. They can be dressed down plain cookies, or they can get dressed up with different add-ins or even made into a cream sandwich! They are soft and chewy without being mushy. Sometimes when I think of oatmeal I think of cooked mushy oatmeal, but not these cookies!

Personally, I prefer my oatmeal cookies plain, or with a little bit of brown sugar on the top. But a lot of people like to put a little something extra~ Some popular adds are raisins, chocolate chips, and cranberries. You do you when making these cookies!
